Colorado Beauty

I just can't resist posting just a few pictures of how gorgeous it was in Colorado. The views, the flowers, the mountains, the marmots. I just love all of it. Hope you do too.

Happy Day!!

We sold our house!!! Oh My Gosh, I can't believe it!! The first people who looked at it made us an offer and it is officially off the market. Laurie has mad staging skills, so if any of you need to sell your house, give her a call. This is such a relief, now we don't have to be ready to leave at a moments notice and keeping everything perfectly neat (almost an impossibility for me) is not necessary. So, we can cross that little thing off the list. Also, the boys passports came yesterday. Ryan was so proud and wanted to carry his "book" around with him all day. I let hime hold it for a minute, I am pretty sure if I left it with him it would either already be lost or colored in. He doesn't get how important it is. Wow, two big things all in one day, such a blessing!

More Vacation

Along with going to Winter Park, we also did other fun things in the mountains. Chris got to go golfing (not mini golfing, but real golfing) at Pole Creek. We went horse back riding (minus Declan) with the whole family. And we visited great friends who have known us for as long as I can remember. This trip was everything we needed.

It is ON!!

The house that is. It is officially on the market. After an exhausting weekend that took people from three states and furniture from two houses, and one trip to Garbage Ridge, Kirklands, and Home Depot, the house looks amazing. Laurie came into town to finally get her hands on my cluttered, non decorated house, she did an amazing job. Dana helped run interference with the kids and graciously let Laurie assign her tasks to accomplish in the house. The kids did pretty well letting us work, and after two days working from morning until night, it is done. So bring on the offers, I don't think I can protect this house for long from Hurricane Brandon and Ryan.

Winter Park

So, I think these pictures really speak for themselves, but we had the best time at the base of Winter Park. The weather was cool and dry. The setting was beautiful. There was stuff to entertain us from open to close (we shut down the alpine slide both days we went). Ryan got to play a million rounds of mini-golf. What a great trip!

Up in the sky.....

It's a bird...

It's a plane.....

No, it's Papa climbing the rock wall in Winter Park!

I hope I can still do this when I am 60.

Love You Dad!!
