New Blog

The time has come to start a new blog. This blog has served its purpose to chronicle our family growing from 4 to 5 (in a way we never expected). But our family is starting a new adventure in Vietnam and so it seems only right to start a new blog. The new blog will be private, for various reasons, but it just seems like the right thing to do. Most of you that I know in real life, I have your email to invite you to be a reader, but for the rest of you who read this blog, please leave a comment with your email if you would like to be invited to read the new blog. Hope to see you soon on the new blog!!

How Old is Your Baby???

I get this question all the time. Declan is massive. He is the size of many of our friends 10 or 12 month olds. The proof was today at the doctor for his four month check-up....He weighs 17 pounds and is 27 inches long. In other words, he is off the charts. Also, he just got his first tooth this week. So that explains all the drool. I think he came out of me as like a 3 month old. We love our big squishy baby!

Disney Magic

Disney was so much fun this trip, yes it was a total whirlwind, we were only there for 5 days, but it was so worth it. My Aunt Sandy came and enjoyed a quick trip to visit the Mouse with us. Our trip wouldn't have been nearly as much fun without her. We stayed at the Cabins this time which gave us an opportunity to try some new things. We went to a marshmallow roast with Chip and Dale one night, saw the hoop-dee-doo review one night, and took the boat to Magic Kingdom. We also got to spend some time with Aunt Wendy and Uncle Bill, they are also always up for a trip to Disney. We really enjoyed the change of pace. Also, Brandon and Ryan tried the new Pirate's League experience and were transformed into Pirates. It was so much fun. Declan seemed to enjoy his first Disney trip too. There was so much for him to look at, he never wanted to go to sleep because he was so curious about everything. Brandon was like a different kid there this time. The last couple of trips, he has been so afraid of everything, but this time, he was riding all the rides and having a great time. And Ryan rode Small World about 10 times (sorry Aunt Sandy), which was exactly what he wanted to do. All in all, it was a great trip.

We were here...

And here....

And here....

Even with a move to the other side of the planet only a month away,
there is always time for a little Disneyworld.
